Hello! I’m so glad that you’ve found your way to our little corner of the wellness world. My journey into the world of cold-pressed juices and holistic health began when my grandma had breast cancer and explored juicing during that time. I have a life long love of food and it’s use in our lives from fine dining to cold-pressed elixirs with purpose. Originally I attended culinary school, worked in many different kitchens and eventually went through McCormick & Shmick’s Seafood & Steakhouse sous chef growth program. As much as I loved fine dining and the professional level of execution I felt like the purpose was lacking. I later transitioned into the wellness world, becoming a massage therapist, life coach, and energy healer learning reiki, and so many more healing techniques. This lead me to opening my first spa in Ohio where I cross promoted my best friend’s juice bar out there by offering juices as part of our all-inclusive experience after wellness services. So naturally when I moved back to NWI and opened Mamabear Massage & Float, I connected with Amber Shambo- the previous owner of Be Good Juicerie, and started carrying her juices with the same mission. To continue providing all-inclusive service and juice, because every little bit helps.
Fast forward a year later, and I was presented the opportunity to purchase Be Good Juicerie, and since our wellness clients were already familiar and forever asking about more information about how to get more juice, we figured this was a perfect fit. It also feels full circle to be able to still be in the food industry but in a more intentional way. We are forever grateful to provide more unique jobs and for amazing staff that helps connect with our community 6 days a week.
As a woman of faith, I believe deeply in the power of natural, remedies to nourish our bodies and spirits. Be it from the power of touch, the power of 1000lbs of epsom salts in our float tanks with our sister business, or through the power of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. This business is a reflection of a mission: to bring hope, healing, and a reminder of God's abundant love into every aspect of life.
My hope is that through Be Good Juicerie, we can empower one another to live a vibrant, joyful, and health-filled life, trusting in the plans God has for us that are far bigger then we could ever imagine alone.
